Uninstalling Mimestream

We’re sorry to see you go, but hope that you’ll revisit Mimestream in the future. If you have specific feature requests that you’d like to see us build, please vote on or submit new ideas via our public roadmap.

Uninstalling the app

Follow the standard macOS procedure for removing an app:

1. Open Finder, and use the main menu to select Go > Applications.
2. Select Mimestream.app, and drag it to the Trash.

Removing cached data

To remove Mimestream’s caches:

1. Open Finder, and use the main menu to select Go > Go to Folder.
2. Type in ~/Library/Containers and hit enter.
3. Select any folders with the name Mimestream drag them to the Trash.
